Aged Tawny Port & Cheddar Gift Set

Discover Dune Road Vineyard’s fifteen-year aged Tawny Port, matured on the Noosa River and poured for anyone who takes the last hour of dinner seriously.

Fifteen unhurried years in barrel does patient work. Caramel and burnt toffee give way to dried fig, date and raisin, before settling into toasted walnut with a thread of candied orange peel. Warm, layered and long — a finish that tends to outlast the conversation. Not sweet so much as generous.

Some people are certain they don't like port. Most of them have never met this one.

Our Tawny has won over lifelong "I don't drink red" guests and confirmed port sceptics alike. More than one has come back for a second glass and looked mildly betrayed about it. Consider it the port no one thought they wanted, and no one seems to put down.

Pairs delightfully with our aged cheddar — sharp, firm and deep enough to meet the port head-on rather than disappear behind it. Port and cheese, as the final hour of a good dinner intended.
